NOW SUBBING : MY GIRL PHILIPPINES

My Girl is an adaptation of the hit Korean drama series of the same title. The original series was aired by ABS-CBN in 2006. This is the first adaptation of a Korean drama series (also called Koreanovela in the Philippines) for Philippine TV.

Synopsis

Jasmine, a Fil-Chinese girl whose zest for life never wavers despite her endless struggles. Her destiny changes once she crosses paths with Julian (Gerald Anderson) who asks her to pretend to be his long-lost cousin to grant his grandfather’s dying wish. As they carry on with their charade, however, Jasmine learns that nothing good will come out of the ruse, especially when it leads to some romantic confusion. In an increasingly complicated situation, where will fate lead these "partners in crime?"

BAYAN NI JUAN

I WAS JUST AMAZED BY THIS VIDEO. THIS IS A PRODUCTION OF ABS-CBN FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THE PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE.

PINOYS ABROAD I HOPE THIS WILL AWAKEN AND KEEP THE FIRE OF NATIONALISM BURNING IN YOUR HEART.

AS I QUOTE FROM THE SONG:

LIPARIN ANG LANGIT NA BUGHAW
(FLY THE BLUE SKY)
PANINGNINGIN MGA TALA AT ARAW
(MAKE THE STARS AND SUN SHINE)
MAMUMULANG MULI ANG SILANGAN
(THE EAST WILL TURN INTO RED AGAIN)
SA BAGONG SIMULA NG ATING BAYAN
(BECAUSE OF THE NEW START OF OUR COUNTRY)

BAGONG SIMULA SA BAYAN NI JUAN

By Robert Labayen

KEVIN ROY
Parang isang gabing walang katapusan
Sa bawat mesa asin lagi ang ulam
Umaalog sa alkansya pisong pinagpawisan
Batang nakahubad kumot ang lansangan

YAEL
Lupaing kinalbo minsa'y nadidilig
Ng dugo sa away ng kapatid sa kapatid

MARK ABAYA
Sa kalagayang ito tayo ay nakagapos
Parang awa sana ay dito na magtapos

KEVIN ROY - Todo na to

YAEL
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Pagningningin mga tala at araw

MARK ABAYA
Mamumulang muli ang silangan
Sa bagong simula ng ating bayan

KITCHIE
Wag nang maulit kapalarang kaypait
Wag magpabaya wag kang manahimik
Wag kang manlalamang wag kang manggigipit
Wag magkanya-kanya magkaisang bisig.
YENG
Magmalasakit ito'y kabayanihan
Gawin mo anumang makayanan
Kalagayan ng bayan sumasama lamang
Kung walang gagawin tayong mamamayan

ALL
Todo na to!

PLACID
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Pagningningin mga tala at araw
Mamumulang muli ang silangan
Sa bagong simula ng ating bayan

TUGMA
Ipakita natin
sa ating mga magulang,
Mga kapatid,
Kaya natin ito.
Isang subok pa,
Sabay-sabay na,
Walang kukontra....

LAST CHORUS - ALL
Todo na to
Liparin ang langit na bughaw
Pagningningin mga tala at araw
Mamumulang muli ang silangan
Sa bagong simula ng ating bayan

Sa bagong simula ng ating bayan
.
